Finds on a Dime: Night Out

I recently moved to NYC :) And what I'm trying to figure out is what to wear to nightclubs..especially during the winter. A lot of places have coat check so that's amazing because it gets freezing outside, so don't forget a jacket!! But I know clubs in different areas have different dress codes. Obviously I can't afford designer clothes right now so I found a few items on Forever 21's website that I think could work generally, for nightclubs.
